Player Bio: An Australian with a Rugby background, "Roasty" had never tried Aussie Rules before moving to Canada. The decision to play turned out to be a perfect fit, the young South Australian an important cog in the Montreal Angels famously strong defence.
Roasty's shining moment would come in the 2010 Canadian National's game against the highly rated Edmonton Emu's. With a host of injuries to the team's forwards Roasty was thrust forward and given the job as key forward. Rising to the challenge she was amongst the team's best players, causing havoc in the forward line for the Edmonton defenders and kicking the opening goal of the match which the Angels would go on to win.
